Vivace Piano Studio is a home-based studio in Huonville, Tasmania, which is personally run by myself with love and passion since 2005. Before moving here, I ran a thriving piano studio of 40+ students in Hurstville Grove and Penshurst, NSW.

I am an experienced and qualified teacher who has been teaching piano to students of all ages and abilities. I approach my students with friendliness, encouragement, patience and adaptability. 

 

I have a secondary teaching  degree, completed AMEB grade 8, and also have experience in teaching music and languages in high schools, primary schools and infant schools.

At Vivace Piano Studio, learning to play the piano can be done in a 'vivace', pronounced "vi-vah-chey" (full of life) way.

I strive to reach my students with the right balance of personalised attention, patience, practical training, and positive encouragement. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities. (Lots of hands on games to learn and practise music theory!)​​

 

I design my lessons according to my students' needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.

I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. I motivate and guide students towards success.
